But du programme :

The goal of this project is to develop an optimization-based design tool that will allow domain experts likex000D
physicians and sports goods manufactures to rapidly customize products such as knee orthoses, hockey skates,x000D
or ski boots to their patients and customers. Based on an industry-standard shape representation, the algorithmsx000D
developed in this project will be able to automatically adjust the parameters of a given product template inx000D
order to meet various criteria such as visual quality, robustness, and fit. Once a product has been customized inx000D
this way, it can be fabricated using 3D printing.x000D
The project is a collaboration between Caboma, a Montreal-based company specializing in productx000D
customization software, and the department of Computer Science at the University of Montreal.
