St. Lawrence College and ECONSE Wastewater Solutions of Toronto, Ontario, have created a partnership tox000D
investigate and optimise the company's new BruClean, small-medium scale wastewater remediation system.x000D
After successful trials with large scale brewery remediation, ECONSE is looking to validate their newx000D
wastewater treatment system, developed specifically to help reduce their environmental footprint by reducingx000D
the amount of wastewater that is produced. Additionally, this system should help these breweries save moneyx000D
on municipal wastewater treatment fees, which can be a substantial cost in the operation of a brewery.x000D
The researchers at St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Science at St. Lawrence College will bex000D
overseeing students from the Environmental Science program while they perform tests and analysis on thex000D
ECONSE treatment system, to prepare a report with the performance data on the system any recommendationsx000D
to help further optimise the BruClean system.
