But du programme :

This project, conducted in partnership with FilSpec Inc., aims to characterize the optical properties and thex000D
heating power, under optical illumination, of a series of textile fabrics made from a blend of specialized yarns.x000D
These specialized yarns contain a certain proportion of carbon black and mineral nanoparticles, which arex000D
responsible for their optical absorption in the visible and near infrared. Textiles with different combinations ofx000D
regular and near-infrared sensitive fibers will be tested to assess the impact of these mixtures on their heatingx000D
power.x000D
Optical studies include measurements of transmittance and absorbance spectra in the 400 to 1500 nm range,x000D
under different illumination conditions. These measurements will be correlated with measurements ofx000D
temperature change under illumination. An exploratory study of the dynamics of the self-heating phenomenonx000D
will be carried out using transient absorption measurements.
