With a strapped health care system, government funded health care facilities and hospitals are shifting the carex000D
to the home to reduce costs. iCare Home Health Services Inc. has developed an application-Health Espresso,x000D
which provides real-time remote monitoring of vitals and medication adherence oversight. In collaborationx000D
with Durham College, the company intends to build in artificial intelligence into this application to learn user'sx000D
behaviors to further tailor the application's experience better, for example, integrating sentiment analysisx000D
artificial intelligence within the speech recognition platform. This feature developed in the present proposalx000D
will use artificial intelligence to enhance the voice reminders of medication timings, doctor's appointments, andx000D
health-related notification. The outcome of this project will enhance the patient and caregiver experience andx000D
will help the company to enter new diverse markets.
