SPAN Consulting in Calgary, Alberta is seeking technical assistance from SAIT Applied Research andx000D
Innovation Services (ARIS) to support its plan to add qualitative data reading and analysis artificial intelligencex000D
(AI) capabilities to its Octane, a software that tracks, manages and integrates information for effectivex000D
decision-making and reporting of results. In the proposed project, SAIT will conduct a comparativex000D
investigation of available AI platforms to determine which platform is suitable for integration into Octane, andx000D
then create and develop usage example application programs with which SPAN will initiate the integration.x000D
SPAN will use the findings and the applications developed from the project to start integrating AI support intox000D
Octane and build a pilot version comprising the natural language analysis AI capabilities. The proposedx000D
research is the first step and is very critical to SPAN's plan of improving its Octane system to better serve itsx000D
clients.
