AnimationLeader Technology Inc. is a Calgary-based software company that has developed an award-winningx000D
motion-tracking system for physiotherapy patient rehabilitation. The system is composed of an exercisex000D
recommendation and a visualization tool, as well as a patient progress tracking application. The company's goalx000D
is to assists medical practitioners to develop a customized exercises, as well as to track patient progress andx000D
assess the therapy effectiveness in real-time.x000D
In order to have a more personalized approach to patient rehabilitation, as well as to track the progress morex000D
accurately, AnimationLeader Technology Inc. plans to utilize remote sensors to represent body joints and theirx000D
movement more accurately. This project will achieve this goal through development of a biometric-basedx000D
motion tracking module, that will be based on two features: Joint Relative Distance and Joint Relative Angles,x000D
applied to the 24 body skeleton joints. Machine Learning method based on Convolution Neural Networks willx000D
be utilized for each patient to individually track efficiency of the prescribed exercises and to makex000D
recommendations where necessarily for the most suitable therapy for a specific type of injury. The developedx000D
prototype will be later integrated with the PHYSIO4D proprietary software package developed byx000D
