Draganfly Innovations Inc. is a Saskatchewan based company that designs, builds, and sells unmanned aerialx000D
vehicles (UAV's) with professional imaging and mapping capabilities. Draganfly Innovations currently worksx000D
with Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) personnel to map crime scenes and vehicular accidents. Most ofx000D
their focus to date has been in urban environments. In order to maintain their role as an industry leader in UAVx000D
assisted public safety and law enforcement activities, Draganfly Innovations has recruited the expertise ofx000D
Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Natural Resources Technology programs. This proposed partnership is focused onx000D
developing a workflow for UAV's and 3D image rendering technology for documenting conservation-relatedx000D
crime scene investigations in complex forested terrains. Canada's boreal forest comprises 42% of the country'sx000D
land mass and accounts for a significant proportion of conservation related crimes.
