Littlefleets Solutions Inc. operates in the sector of urban route planning and fleet scheduling. The companyx000D
maintains the dynamic routing and scheduling system with the mobile app as the front-end. This system, in realx000D
time, has to meet particular service requirements of the customers, based on their request information. Planningx000D
the routes to satisfy users time, compatibility and location restrictions, as well as to minimize the total travelx000D
distance usage, can be challenging, especially with the scale of heavily urbanized city networks. Indeed,x000D
underlying problems that are required to be algorithmically solved are studied heavily in both academic andx000D
industrial communities. Developing the state of the art approach depends on the effective mathematicalx000D
modeling as well as general proficiency with devising scalable and robust computational algorithms. The groupx000D
will evaluate the recent progress in the area and provide the company with the most suitable computationalx000D
framework to address their needs in described optimization. Coming up with efficient solutions to thesex000D
challenges will benefit the growth of the customer base of the company and improve the immediate quality ofx000D
services they provide. Needless to say, that reducing the traffic load (and as a result the carbon emission of thex000D
city transportation system) is one of the requirements for sustainable development of the country.
