Luxsonic Technologies Inc. (Luxsonic) has developed cloud-based practice management software for medicalx000D
and veterinary specialist physicians. Luxsonic is planning to validate the full product in the veterinary marketx000D
before launching it in the human health market. A launch in the human market will require significantlyx000D
improved online security to ensure the safe and secure transmission and storage of medical information.x000D
Current team members have a rudimentary capacity in online/network security. Luxsonic has approached thex000D
Digital Integration Research Group of Saskatchewan Polytechnic for research and technical development of thex000D
security component of this Software as a Service ("SaaS"). This first-time partnership will have direct value tox000D
Luxsonic as it will allow the company to improve its security infrastructure. Luxsonic will be beta testing thex000D
current version of the software with its first clients in June 2017 and expect to continuously integratex000D
improvements to SaaS as they are developed during this project. The improvement in the Company's securityx000D
architecture is crucial as the Company begin a national sales campaign in the last quarter of 2017 since thex000D
security of patient information is critical for the success of the Company's product in the medical field.
